Support foster, adoptive, and kinship families while creating brighter futures for children and youth.
At Kids Belong, we believe a strong community surrounding foster, adoptive, and kinship families creates a stronger foster care system. While not everyone can foster a child, everyone can play a meaningful role through volunteering, church partnerships, business sponsorships, or practical acts of kindness. Together, we create a network of support that helps children, foster youth, former foster youth, and caregivers thrive.
Whether you’re an individual, a business, or a church, there are opportunities to support local families through practical service, community partnerships, and generous giving.
Stay informed about volunteer opportunities and practical family needs, including meal deliveries, clothing donations, event assistance, and special community projects that directly support foster, adoptive, and kinship families.
Businesses help make our programs possible by sponsoring family events, school supplies, meals, holiday initiatives, and other resources that benefit children and families throughout West Michigan.
Churches are essential partners in creating welcoming communities through volunteer teams, family support, clothing closets, meals, holiday programs, and ongoing encouragement for foster, adoptive, and kinship families.
Support teams also have opportunities to volunteer with closets and other events, including our annual Christmas Stockings!
If you want to be the first to know about these kinds of opportunities and/or would like to be hands-on with foster care, join the support teams!
You can choose one or participate in both.
