Support/Volunteer

There are lot of ways to get involved in foster care without actually becoming a foster parent. At Kids Belong we believe that a strong community wrapping around foster and adoptive families makes for a stronger foster care system. It’s easy to say, “support foster families”, but often we aren’t sure what to do or where to help.

There are several ways that we are making foster care support more accessible. From Support Teams to community groups to business sponsorships, there is something that everyone can do.

Support Teams

Support Team members are the first to know when there is a need or a project that needs to be done. It could be anything from making meals to closet needs to volunteer projects. Whenever we hear of a need, we reach out to our support teams first. Find out more about support teams.

Business Sponsors

Sponsorships keep our events running smoothly. Business sponsors are recognized for providing meals and supplies for our gatherings, or school supplies at back to school time. See our current list of sponsors and find out more about sponsorships

Church Partners

We encourage churches to take up the conversation around foster care and adoption. Most of our events are hosted by churches and we work with ministry teams to build supports for families such as closets, meals, Christmas and birthdays, etc. Find out more about Church partnerships.
